Weekly roundup: Innovations in online storytelling
FABULOUS NEW INTERACTIVE WEB DOCUMENTARY: “Los pregoneros de Medellín” is a fantastically entertaining online doc about the singing street vendors of the city of Medellín, Colombia. You scroll through the streets of Medellín using your mouse, listening to the sounds, and click on vendors to watch video stories about them. Fun, gorgeous storytelling. Could this kind of multimedia project be used for social change? You bet. Regardless, it’s fun, gorgeous storytelling. Hat tip to the Future of Storytelling blog, where I learned about it.
